Google Mock-up Ideas

In preparation for making my own product, I did a mock-up of my ideas using images from Google.

I moved the plug because I felt like it looked better at the bottom of the page.

CONTENTS PAGE

This wasn't on my digital draft, but I decided to add a caption to my main image so that the reader knows where to find the main feature story.

DOUBLE-PAGE SPREAD

In my digital drafts for my DPS, I have put that I wanted to include secondary images down the side. However, when I was making my mock-ups they made the page look to squashed and crowded. Therefore this is something I am not sure if I am going to use now. When I make my own DPS, I will see what it looks like both with and without secondary images and see which one looks best.
